Trustee recruitment and appointment Charity Trusteeship is open to:
12.1 any person aged 18 or over who expresses an interest in mental
health and can contribute to the achievement of the purposes of the
organisation.
Application for charity trusteeship
13.Any person who wishes to become a charity trustee must sign
a written application for charity trusteeship.
14.
The application will be considered by the board at its next
meeting.
15.
If the application is successful, the applicant will be subject
to a PVG check.
16.
The board may, at its discretion, refuse to admit any person
to trusteeship. This will be determined by majority vote.
17.
The board must notify each applicant promptly in writing
(including email) of its decision on whether or not to admit them.
The board does not need to provide a reason.

No subscription will be payable.

in relation to these objects

The organisation is established for charitable purposes only with the
primary objectives being:
4.1
To reduce isolation in those suffering from mental illness or mental
health issues by providing a safe space online in which individuals can
anonymously talk about their problems with other users.
4.2
To provide information relating to mental health conditions, advice
and information on how and where to get help.
4.3
To encourage involvement in the community by providing face to
face support groups and supported community activities.
4.4
To increase understanding and provide insight of what it is like to
have and live with a mental health condition, to encourage communication
from those who feel they would benefit from talking to someone and to
reduce stigma by the trustees and associates of the organisation giving frank,
open and humorous (where appropriate) talks to students, communities and
professional organisations. This will give 'normal' faces to mental illness.
5.
The area within which the organisation will operate (referred to in
this document as 'the area of benefit') shall be the United Kingdom with scope
to expand over time to Europe, The United States of America, Canada,
Australia and New Zealand.
6.
The beneficiaries of the organisation will be the general public of the
United Kingdom with the exclusion of children under the age of 12, and in the
future, the general public of the countries mentioned in 5.
