The aims of the church are in line with its Mission Statement - 'The making and maturing of disciples of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God'. The church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland.
Objectives: 4 The Church's purposes are: 4.1 the advancement of the Christian faith primarily in Dedridge and Livingston and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world by all means consistent with the teachings of the Christian Bible including worship, ministry, mission, prayer, witness, education, community service. 4.2 the support of agencies and individuals and other charitable organisations involved in Christian missionary work. 4.3 the relief of poverty or other social needs.
