**Purposes:** 'the advancement of citizenship or community development','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

**What the charity does:** Kemnay Village Hall provides facilities to those that live, work in and visit Kemnay. The main usage of the Hall is from lets to groups and individuals for their own purposes eg parties, meeting and classes, but there is a Community Coffee morning and cinema and theatre showings. The Hall is a place of refuge for eg storms and has a generator and wellbeing items. The Community larder is based in the Hall. The monthly newsletter is produced at and distributed from the Hall. The very well attended annual firework display is part of the remit.

**Objectives:** 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to recreational facilities or activities which are available to members of the public at large.  And in furtherance of the above purpose, we will carry out the following 	activities:  • To provide sufficient funding to maintain and improve the fabric of the hall.	  4.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development by promoting and supporting a sense of community pride through a number of initiatives and events, and the support of the community newsletter.  In furtherance of 4.2 we will carry out the following activities:  • To promote community spirit within the village of Kemnay and the surrounding area.  • To deliver community based events in support of the aforementioned objectives.  • To support the production and delivery of the village newsletter or other forms of local information sharing.
