**What the charity does:** 1. Operate a brass band ( the band) which performs at various events, both locally and nationally, providing a high standard of music making for its members and entertainment for the public. 2. Run a youth and development band to provide opportunities to young players to develop and perform along with the band at several venues in Fife.

**Objectives:** The objectives of the Band shall be -  To advance the education of the public in music and in particular brass band music and to advance the public's participation in and appreciation of brass band music. In furtherance thereof the band shall seek:  a) To provide facilities, instruments, and such necessary equipment as to facilitate the learning and playing of music, particularly that pertaining to brass bands. b) To participate actively and be an effective influence in the cultural activities within the community. c) To compete in such contests or competitions as are arranged or organised by the Management Committee.
