Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period
Demand for the club continues to be high.
For the 23/24 season we had 4 National League (the top league in the country) teams competing.
Our Senior Men team competed in division 2 finishing in 6[th] position out of 10 with 9 wins and 9 loses.
The Under 18 men team competed in division 2 finishing 2[nd] of 7 with 12 wins and 3 loses.
Our Under 16 men competed in division 1 finishing 8[th] position out of 8 with 2 wins and 18 losses.
The Under 14 men competed in division 2 finishing 6[th] of 9 with 3 wins and 5 defeats.
One of our Under 18 players were chosen for the Scotland team.
Our Senior Men local league team won the Robert Taft Cup.
During this season we also ran an Under 18s development team for the first time, taking part in a competitive league.
Financial review
Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves
The trustee’s policy is to retain 3 months of normal running costs to meet commitments
and to cover any unexpected expenditure. At the end of the year, the reserves were £ 15504, which exceeds our target range.
Details of any deficit
There is no deficit to report for the financial year July 1st, 2023, to June 30th, 2024.

C1 Nature and purpose of These accounts have been prepared on the Receipts and Payments basis in accordance funds (may be stated on with the Charities & Trustees Investments (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts analysis of funds worksheets) (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended.) Unrestricted funds are those that may be used at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the objects of the charity. The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees |
