Create a Smile Scotland was set up in response to the growing issue of social isolation in Scotland and the consequences of such isolation, particularly relating to well-being and mental health.The purpose of the charity is to attempt to combat the social isolation of individuals in our communities, especially those in the more rural areas of Scotland. We aim to provide activities in different areas to try and alleviate the social isolation of individuals, particularly those more vulnerable members of society.

Objectives: The organisation?s purposes are to provide relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability. provide recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the person for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended and promote equality and diversity by: Providing activities within local communities to promote social inclusion and eliminate the discrimination faced by individuals with disabilities. Combatting social isolation amongst vulnerable members of society, paying particular attention to those in more rural settings.
