Objectives: The purpose of the SCIO is: The advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith and the Doctrinal Statements, primarily, but not exclusively, by procuring the entry of individuals into vocational Christian ministry through the provision of advice, education and training to individuals and churches. 2.2. Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the SCIO for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
