The charity is govemed by a Board of Trustees who are accountable to the members through a Management Committee, elected each year at the clubs Annual General Meeting. The charity is affiliated to Scoth'sh Athletics and adheres to the regulations and standards governed by UK Athletics which is the National Goveming Body. Trustee recruitment and appointment New Trustees are recruited by invitation of the Trustees and appointed after a successful period of induction and all appointments with the tenns set out in the constitution. Objectives and activities Charitable purposes To advance public participation in sport through the promotion and advancements of athletics. To provide recreational facilities and activities to the public, to improve the conditions of life of those in the community. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects The club provides track coaching 3 times a week for its members. These sessions are delivered by UK Athlelics qualified coaches. There are organised training and social runs for the senior members (age 18+), three times a week. The club organises junior cross- country races for school aged children P1-S6 and also organises a chip-timed 10K each March and a 6k19k event each August.

APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of Ihe charity during the financial period 3 new level 1 coaching assistants qualified. Club members have participated in the full range of events- track and field, ha￿-Marathon, marathon, and ultras. Appointment of a level 4 athletics coach lo deliver sessions to senior members weekly. Base Camp 24125 had over 300 participants. Held Easter {168 participants) and summer (330 participants) base camps. Membership numbers stayed in line with last year. Competition groups were very successful - sprints, throws, combined events, endurance and SUPERteams (under 12s) won volunteer of the year at Scottish Athletics Annual Awards won volunteer of the year at the Scottish Women in Sport Awards.
