Baby Bank Scotland supports families living in poverty or experiencing financial difficulty. We provide baby and child essentials that families would otherwise struggle to afford, offering dignified and practical support. Our support includes clothing, bedding, cots, prams, car seats, baby equipment, nappies, wipes, and baby care products. We also provide toiletries for the entire family, helping to maintain health, wellbeing, and dignity through access to everyday essentials such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and period products. Families can access our service through referrals from health professionals, social workers, schools, charities, and other third-sector organisations when a need is identified.

Objectives: The Organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objectives are: 1.The prevention or relief of poverty, in particular, the relief of those in need of support in providing for babies and children by reason of age, ill-health, financial hardship or other disadvantage. and 2. To promote and advance, the prevention or relief of poverty, in particular, the relief of those in need of support in providing for babies and children by reason of age, ill-health, financial hardship or other disadvantage to those citizens of the Lanarkshire area (the extent of such area to be determined by the directors and shall not necessarily be limited to the geographical local authority areas of North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council), 3. To provide at the discretion of the Trustees, the prevention or relief of poverty, in particular, the relief of those in need of support in providing for babies and children by reason of age, ill-health, financial hardship or other disadvantage to those citizens of the 30 local authority areas within Scotland not included within the geographical local authority areas defined in (4.2 and whose personal circumstances are such that the support provided by Baby Bank Scotland (LBB) SCIO will improve and or relieve their personal or financial circumstances.
