We benefit trom 20 young leaders. the vast majority of whom come from Tcffliain Explorers, who are
partnereij with the group
C￿r main event of the year was the inlroduclion ol a Squirrel scout section, for young people age 4
and 5 We recruited a bnlliant new leader team who were Initially supported by our more expen8nced
leadefs They are gradually growing the section bul Il will remain small lo comply with leader ratios.
Addilionally. we ran a bnllianl group Camp al The Craigs campsite Involwng the entire group and
Torynain Explorers. This was a very surLesslul event with the Squirrels given a taste of 5coul1ng and
teams of young people acfoss all sections wothing and partiopaling in actiwties 109ether 11 Is rare to
camp together as a group and Il was a special event for all Involved.

Our annual Jumble Sale raised over £2800 aTrd once again involved the whole group collecting,
sorting, selling and disFosing of jumble The Gala Day was also a great success despite Ihe poor
weather and we showed our respects ai the annual Remembrance Se￿ice in Ratho.
