This will take place in February 2025. - Secured support of a leading consultant in wheelchair training in Tanzania on an ongoing basis - Visited CCBRT who operate similar programmes in Dar es Salaam and Moshi, Tanzania to share ideas, gather experience and learn. - enable the se�ng up of a sponsorship scheme - Opened a new workshop and employed a technician to run this - Developed poten�al funding streams in Tanzania including making equipment to sell - - Recruited two clinicians to support the fi�ng and support of wheelchairs to WHO standards. They will work on an ‘as and when’ basis. - families and families of young mobility impaired children (funding dependent) - - Developed strong links with 3 schools and supported them to welcome disabled children into their schools - Planned the building of a wheelchair accessible toilet in one school. This will be built in 2025. - Developed links with a local wheelchair supplier - Developed partnerships with the Tanzanian government, CCBRT, Mo�va�on, Tabora League for Children and other partners ## In the UK we have: - Strengthened our board and governance - Recruited 2 new board members - Held a number of fundraising events - Supported the work in Tanzania - Worked with wheelchair trainers - Just Wheels UK, Sylvan, Urlar Road, Aberfeldy, PH15 2ET Registered in Scotland with OSCR: SC047294 ## **Going forward – 2025 and beyond** - We are currently suppor�ng the Just Wheels team in Tabora along with DMI management to develop a 3 year strategic plan to outline their plans and ideas. This will be guided by our local Tanzanian consultant.
