'the prevention or relief of poverty','the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

Services are provided for children from age 4 to 16, young people aged up to 18, as well as adults, able and disabled. We enable them to socialise in a friendly and safe environment. Mental health support is also provided to young people and their families. The premises are given out for hire to other local organisations and are also popular for parties and meetings.

Objectives: 4.1. to carry out activities and provide a wide variety of resources and services for the benefit of, but not limited to, the inhabitants of Wick, wider Caithness and the Highlands (hereinafter called members of the Community), regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender status, religion or belief, marital status, civil partnership status, colour, ethnic origin, race, nationality, national origins, political opinions, socio-economic status, disability or age, in order to relieve poverty and empower the Community, so that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society with the object of improving their quality of life. 4.2. creating and expanding affordable multi-purpose community facilities, for hire, for the benefit of the community. both indoor and outdoor, for: community groups, charities, social enterprises, and small businesses. This will allow the Community to develop its social sustainability and socio-economic capabilities, in order to help relieve poverty and promote the advancement of Community development. 4.3. to create a safe environment for young people to socialise, learn, and enhance their quality of life through social inclusion and connection, so as to develop their physical, mental and social capabilities. 4.4. to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, particularly sporting activities, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. 4.5. to operate as a facility which engages with volunteers (young people and adults), to allow our organisation to grow sustainability as well as providing a platform the volunteers to develop themselves by: increasing their self-confidence. gain valuable experience and employability skills. and make a difference to their own lives, as well as the Community.
