Sailability Scotland SCIO helps disabled people experience the freedom of sailing. To support our main purpose of promoting Disability Sailing in Scotland we organise a Traveller Regatta series of 6 regattas each year, working in partnership with host sailing clubs across Scotland. The host clubs may vary annually, helping us reach sailors in different regions.

Objectives: 4.1. the organisation's purposes are: 4.2. to promote and advance public participation in the sport of sailing. 4.3. to promote the potential benefits to all people in need by reason of age, health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, that the art and skills of boating can bring to improve their quality of life and that of their carers 4.4. to co-ordinate the activities of all who can benefit from sailing in matters of teaching, coaching, cruising and competition with equality and diversity in respect of the Disability Discrimination Act. 4.5. to encourage and support local and to promote and arrange National competitions 4.6. to encourage and assist in the setting up and running of sailing clubs or groups specifically for people with a disability and to encourage sailing organisations to accept disabled sailors into membership. 4.7. to do all of these things (4.1- 4.6) in mutual cooperation with RYA Sailability, RYA Scotland, World Sailing and Scottish Disability Sport. and: on the basis that the organisation will operate principally in Scotland.
