**What the charity does:** nbc is a member led charitable organisation, offering friendship, activities, fun and adventure to people with disabilities throughout East Lothian. We focus on self-determination and actively pursue activities around healthy living, self-development and creating new skills and abilities. nbc Board of Trustees is made up entirely of members with disabilities, and each year co-opt a small number of board members to support the club with professional skills. nbc are also supported by a 10 hour a week Co-ordinator/ Administrator and a 15 hour a week Events Support worker in helping to run the club and ensure members have access to the services they need.

**Objectives:** The nbc is set up for Charity purposes only. The nbc's purposes are: 1. The promotion of equality in every way, recognizing individuality and celebration of difference by addressing inequalities that face disabled and non-disabled people in the community. 2. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organization of recreational facilities, with the purpose of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by: a. Creating opportunities to improve health and fitness b. Trying out and exploring new activities c. Creating opportunities for meeting people and offering help so that others can get involved
