## **Governing document** 

The organisation is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation set up and registered as a charity on 30 January 2017. It is governed by the conditions set out in its constitution. 

## **Appointment of Trustees** 

The Board of Trustees shall appoint as many Trustees as required to carry out its purposes. The minimum shall never be less than three.

## **OBJECTIVES & ACTIVITIES** 

The objectives of the Trust are the advancement of public participation in sport, and the provision of community sports facilities and activities, to increase access and encourage public participation in sports and leisure opportunities, and improve health; to advance community development by encouraging the community to take part in sport of physical activity and involving volunteers to help ensure the services offered meet the needs of the community and help to provide new skills and perspectives and increase contact and involvement with the community. 

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** 

The Trust was dormant for the entire period. The Trust has been established to replace Firhill Community Trust (SC020952). Firhill Community Trust intends to wind up and pass its assets and liabilities to Firhill Community Trust SCIO. The Trustees of both organisations continue to work towards this objective. Firhill Community Trust SCIO currently has no assets or liabilities.
