The United Methodist Church Scotland exists primarily for the advancement of the Christian faith, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and guided by the Wesleyan tradition of holiness, service, and social justice. Over the past year, a variety of faith-driven activities have enabled the Church to fulfil its mission, providing spiritual nourishment, pastoral support, and practical assistance for its members, the wider community, and individuals both within the United Kingdom and internationally. The overarching objectives of the charity are as follows: The Advancement of Religion and Spiritual Growth, To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to nurture spiritual growth among people of all races, ethnicities, and communities in Scotland and beyond. This is achieved through worship, prayer, evangelism, and discipleship programmes designed to draw individuals and families into a deeper relationship with Christ. Objectives: Objectives The objectives of the church shall be as follows: 1. the advancement of religion and spiritual growth as well as bringing people of all races and communities of all ethnicities in Scotland and beyond, to Jesus Christ 2. the promoting bible studies and Sunday school for children and young people 3. the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, and bereavement 4. to encourage corroborative worship so as to foster peaceful coexistence of people of all faiths, beliefs and ethnicities across Scotland.
