pi"eoious daiighter. As liei parents, we have vowed to keep her legacy going. With

's Vision and our Aims
Through ongoing fundraising events and continued support froiii
followers, our aim is to give soinething back to all the wondei'fiil ili(ii ilies that
supported us. It's impoi1ant they continiie to provide tlieir Se￿iceS to all chil(tren
and fainilies battling childhood cancer. To do so. they rely on donations and
support.
With funding from the Shannon Hughes Foundation, we would like to help
fainilies going through clllldhood cancer by offering miich needed fjnancial
assistance. A recent survey estimated a fainily's oiitgoings increase by £500 per
Inoiith if theii child is attending hospital foi- tlie treatment of cancer. Many parents
have to take leave fioiii woi'k to be witli theii- child Financial WO￿leS should not bc
a burden wlien your cliild is figliting foi. theii. life.
Another vital area we are keen to siipport are the organisations who specialise in
the i"eseai"ch ￿]d developineiit of C￿"eS foi" childhood caiicei". We niust coiitinue to
help fi￿d tliese elfoits and hope tliat one day, a cwe will be discovered. Oi
cliildten should coiitinue to receive the best possible treatmeLits and support
available.

Activities and Achievements
Goals achieved:
Slow year for charity donations alld no set fl￿draiserS organised
£7,705 raised in year 8.
Expenditure was £4976 and this was used on:
Donations to other local charities like. sick kids liospital and support to individual
families fighting children's cancel..
Fundllig to suppoit individual families
Cash at bank ended at £30,831
Reserves Policy
The tn]stees believe that the foundation shoiild inaintain a level of reserves
siifficient to continue the charitable activities and to meet any other ongoing
iing costs for at least six months.
