La 8 Communi Re8illi8nce Team - SC047060 Year ended 31 March 202 Trustees Annual Re The Executive Committee has pleasure in presenting their report together with the financial statements & tho independent examinerf8 report for the year endad 31 March 2025 Con8tltutlon & Purpo88 Largs Communty Resillience Tearn (LCRT) is conststuted in terms of the Rules of the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) The Group is a registered Scottish Charity - No. SC047060 The purpose of Largs Community Resillience Team Is to save Ilves. In dolng so, we aim to create a resilient North Ayrshire and surrounding area by erEuring that LCR T is able to respond swrftly and proportionately to an emergency in the community as part of an integrated emergency response. We ensure compliance with tha Civil Contingencies Act 2004. W8 ensure that LCRT can respond to an emergency in the cunmunty through the creatirMJ of emergency plans, supplements wlth training, exercises and plan malntenance with associated operational teams. We ensure the provisionldissemination of routine wamings receiv￿1 from various agencies including, but not limited to. the Met Office and Envircynental Agencies Tru8tee8 are recruited & appointed in accordance with the Constitution Rules (24.0). Activitie8 & Achlevemonts Durin8 the p2St year Largs Community Resilience Team have recruited 3everal new mcmbcrs but havc also had x)rnc mcmbm stcp down. Wc hqvc a txjol of 35 volunte¢rs from which aroutKI half are most active supporting events locally. the Largs Viking Festival Iring the main event during the year. The team now have the capability to provide Firsi Aid and we have c&lled upon to deliver this ai a fcw local events. (Viking Festival, RNLI Duck Race. Yule tide night) The team have continued kn support I￿al phannacies and vulnernbl¢ pcoplc with delivery of medication and 3hoppin8, although to a Ic&s¢r extent thau wryious ycar5 as many reaidents have passed away or moved into residential care. Overall, the Largs Community Kesilience"feam are recognised &$ an essential resource within the local area and residents appreciat¢ having a resource they can call on if required.

Respectlve re8pon8lbllitle8 of tru8ts08 & examlnor The charty's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities & Trustees Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d> of the Accounts Regulatlons does not apply. It is my responslblllty to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) of the Act and to state whether particular rnatters have come to my attention. An examlnation includes a review of the accounting records kept by the oharty and a Gompanson of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such Matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequentty I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
