It was registered on 21 December 2016. It has a single tier structure and as such the trustees are the members of the charity. Our purposes and administration arrangements are set out in our Constitution. Appointment of trustees All of the Charities Trustees are elected or re*lected by the Members at the Annual General Meeting or appointed by the Charities Truslees under delegated powers. Th8 charity's trustees meet quarterly to discuss business. Trustees are elected at the annual general meeting which is held in February. There must be a minimum of three and a maximum of five trustees. There have been no new trusted appointed. Objectives and Activities Charitable purposes The organisation has been fonned to benefit the Community of Vthrtburn, E8St IAhitburn and Redmill (West Lothian) as defined by ("the Community,), with the Purposes listed in the sub- clauses hereto {"the Purposes"), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs), namely.. The organisation's main purpose Is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The organisations purposes are: Managing community land and associated assets for the benefit of the Community and the public in general., Advance communrty development, includiro urban or rural regeneration within the Community.

Advan￿ the education of the Community about its environmental, cultural, heritage andlor history., To promote, establish and operate schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the residents of the Community. To promote for the public benefit the preservation (whettrEr wholly or in part) of buildings and other stru￿ureS of historic andlor architectural. Activities, Achievements and Porfomiance W8 were inactive during 2020 due to the national COVID 19 Pandemic and only hèld one trustee's meetings and monthly members, from January 2019 to December 2020. We continue to be committed to source fLmding for the development of the charity objectives. Vve continue to be committed to Liaisiro with three main community groups working within the community, Imiitburn and District Community Council, b￿ltbUrn Community Education Management committee and I￿ltbUrn Communty Development Trust to develop a share a common purpose for the community. The trustees have taken no action during 2020 to establish the ownership of land at West Main Street, IAlhitbum. Flnanclal revlew Th8 Trustees hav& agreed to the paymènts from West Lothian Community Trust for th8 local wind turbine on the edge of the town at Tippethill Farm, ￿ltbUrn, be paid directly to the itburn and District Community Council to support the provision of the hanging baskets and flower planter around the town. The trustees have retained the £6QXJO from the first two years payment. The trustees are committed to continue to establish the ownership of land at West Main Stre8t, Whitburn, which was previously grfted to the community. The previous charity has been dissolved and there is a security on the land. Once the ownership has been establish8d the charity plan to pay the securty on the land and develop rt for the benefit of the community. The charity has had no income and m expenditure in this financial year. Reserves policy The charity has not developed a policy on reserves. Th8 charity has no deficit and will not operate wrth a deficit Plans for future period The twstees intend to consult with the commmty wrth regard to the use of the grant from the Tippethill wind turt)ine grant. The trustees continue to establish the ownership of land at West Main Street, lthitbum and if no owner is identified will work towards retuming the larKI to community ownership for the benefit of the community. Trustees will continue to liaise with three main communty groups working within the community and the Friends of Polkemmet GrC￿p.
