**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of health&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;,&#x27;the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage&#x27;

**What the charity does:** We serve the local community by organising outings for elderly people and those with limited mobility: running fall prevention classes. and providing aids and adaptations to enable people to remain living in their own homes.

**Objectives:** The organisation&#x27;s purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of health of those resident in the area of Wester Ross served by Gairloch and Aultbea Medical Practice extending from Mungasdale in the north to Letterewe and Grudie Bridge in the south comprising the villages of Gairloch, Poolewe, Aultbea and Laide and taking in all peninsular roads with the settlements along such roads (the Operating Area) through the implementation of purposes 4.2 and 4.3 following.  4.2 The organisation of recreational facilities and leisure time activity for persons resident in the Operating Area who have need of such facilities and activity by reason of their age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons.  4.3 The relief of those resident in the Operating Area in need by reason of age, ill health, disability or disadvantage through the provision by way of loan of wheelchairs (powered and manual) and other mobility aids in order to assist those in need to keep their independence and to allow them to remain connected to the community in which they live together with provision of advice and training in the use of such items.
