to provide a platform for discussion and facilities to make available the evening and week end quranic classes for young muslim children as well as the prayer facilities for young, old, male and female congregation in the area. In addition to these services the centre also provides opportunities for the participants to have meetings, seminars and social activities so that the quality of life of these members of the community can be enhanced and better information on current issues can be made available to them for better decision making and to reduce the perception gap of the members of the community.

Objectives: 4 The company's objects are: (a) The promotion of religious or racial harmony through a cultural centre to. i. Advance and promote Islam as a way of life for the Muslim community. and ii. Promote an understanding of Islam throughout the community as a whole to create a more cohesive society. (b) To advance the education of the Muslim community through. i. The provision of tutorials, seminars and awareness classes. ii. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organization of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended through the provision of health and fitness workshops and organized sports events. (c) The relief of those of need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of an elderly day group and engaging in welfare programmes for the elderly
