**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of public participation in sport&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;,&#x27;the promotion of equality and diversity&#x27;

**What the charity does:** Disability Motorsport Scotland became a Scottish Charity (SCIO) in November 2016, since then we have offered “Come and Try” DMS track experiences to hundreds of guests living with a disability or an additional support need as drivers or passengers.  A typical DMS season runs from March to October. DMS is open to all, our come and try events in particular support guests with physical disability, learning needs, sensory impairment and mental health issues. We are also in the midst of facilitating Motorsport Inclusion Training (MIT) to all individuals within Motorsport community. We are also creating an Accessible E Sports platform and accessible Go karting.

**Objectives:** The organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for who the activities are primarily intended through participation in motorsport and other associated activities. The advancement of Public Participation in Sport by: ? Providing free taster events for disabled drivers / passengers and developing the country?s first All Ability Race Team, competing at amateur and professional levels. ? Developing strong relationships across the private, public and voluntary sector The promotion of equality and diversity by: ? promoting motorsports primarily by encouraging disabled people to participate in motorsports and associated activities, thus encouraging inclusiveness within society. ? liaising with the government on agendas for disability, inclusiveness and sport to include social integration and to offer motorsport as a diversional activity for those who are hard to reach
