**Objectives:** The SCIO's purposes are to benefit the community of Kirkliston which comprises the Community Council boundary of Kirkliston ('the Community') with the following objects: 4.1 The advancement of community development (including the advancement of regeneration) within the Community. 4.2 The provision of recreational facilities or recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Kirkliston. and 4.3 To fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the laws of Scotland and are connected with the charitable work of the SCIO. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
