Josiah Venture UK is set up for the public benefit, and for the advancement of the Christian faith, in any such way that the Trustees may from time to time decide. It seeks to do this by promoting the Christian faith and the advancement of citizenship and community development in Scotland, the rest of the UK, Central and Eastern Europe and elsewhere with activities including the training and equipping of leaders, the mobilising of teams and individuals for ministry cross culturally, with a special emphasis on young leaders and education within the principles of the Christian faith.

Objectives: The charitable purpose of the SCIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in such ways as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide (the 'Objects').
