In the course of 25-26 ,£3,600 was donated to the Jesuit Development Office (JDO) run by Fr Nigel Johnson SJ for its wide -ranging programme of welfare and education for orphaned and needy children in Zimbabwe The trust has also continued its support of St Stephens school In Turkana County, Kenya. This school provide education for the children of vulnerable families living in the internally displaced (IDP) camo nearby. This year we responded to a request for purchasing school books with a donation of £500. The trust has also continued its monthly support of £180 for Sister Anah Margaret of the Nazareth sister of the Annunciation of Kitale in Kenya; Sister Anah runs a Dispensary (Kipkorian Dispensary) for country people in the area who previously had to walk many miles to access health care, She is helping around 300 patients per month who have chronic illnesses and is profoundly grateful for our support.
