Fundamentally we are about finding ways to be close to death so that it may be less scary and more meaningful. We are also very much about taking action to create structures and opportunities for this experience. We provide one-to-one support and telephone advice to the public and education to both the public and health professionals. Our activities range from community workshops to talks to health professionals and education sessions for nursing students. We also provide a bespoke practical after death assistance service in the Moray area. We manage a Scotland-wide voluntary network, our Daisy Chain, and also a wider network who get together occasionally to share knowledge and support each other’s work and vision around care of someone immediately after their death.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the relief of the newly bereaved during the period between a death and a funeral, 4.2 the advancement of education in care of bodies at home after death, 4.3 the advancement of health related to grief.
