The charity is governed by a constitution.
Charitytrusteeship is open to any person aged 16 oroverwho subscribes to the objects of
the organisation and wishes to see them fulfilled. Any person applyingto be a trustee must
sign a written application. The application will be considered 8tthe next board meeting.
The board m8y refuse admission and must notityeach applicant promptlyof its decision to
admit or ref use.
Objectlves and actlvltles
The objects 8re the advancement of heritage and culture through restoring, reinstating.
preserving and presenting to the public in their context the murals painted byAlex8nder
Runciman in the spse of St Patrick's Church. Edinburgh.
The main activities in relation to these oblects are discussionswith art restorers and the art
departments of the Universities of Edinburgh, Northumbria and Oxford and Ioc81
community groups to prepare 8 restoration plan and fulfillingthis restoration plan.

Publicisingthe presance of Alexander Runcim8n's workwithin St Patrick's Church
Preparation of a restoration plan for the work in conjunction with established
expert8
Preparation f or the restoration of the -moses" pendant, including p8int analysis
work in conjunction with the University of Glasgow'sTechnic81 Art History
department.

Finan¢ial review
Funds are collected to facilitate future stages of the restoration project. which will be
scheduled as funds allow. There is noformal reserves policysince activities are scheduled
in response to successful fundraising to facilitate future st8ges of the project. At the ye8r
end, funds of £22,734 (2023- £17.857) were held and were entirely unrestricted.

I report on the accounts of the charity forthe year ended 31 August 2024 and the notes to
the 8ccounts which are set out on pages 7t0 10.
Respectlve responslblllties of trustees and examln8r
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment Iscotlandl Act 2005 and the
Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006 las amendedl. The charity trustees
consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Idl of the 2006 Accounts
Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as r8quired
under s8Ction 44111 Icl of the Act and to state whether particular m8tters have come to my
attention.

Myexamination is carried out In accordance with Regulation 11 ofthe 2006Accounts
Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
charity and a comparison ofthe accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations
from the trustees concerning any such m8tters, The procedures undertaken do not provide
811 the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an
8udit opinion on tha viewgiven bythe accounts.

1. In the course of myexamination. no matter h8s come to my attention which gives
me reasonable cause to believe th8t in any material respect the requirements;
to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44111 lal of the 2005Act and
Regulation 4 ofthe 2006 Accounts Regulations
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records 8nd complywith
Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations
have not been met, or
2. to which, in my opinion, attention should b8 drawn in Ofderto enable a proper
