Vets with Horsepower is a group of consultant level, UK based equine veterinary surgeons who undertake endurance motorcycle trips to deliver Continuing Professional Development lectures to other veterinary surgeons and lay people. The money raised by these endeavours is donated to equine and child charities in developing countries, most commonly in Africa. The money is used by the recipient charities to fund education for owners of horses and donkeys in developing countries to improve equine health welfare and increase the productivity of the families who own the equines.

Objectives: The objectives of the Club shall be to raise money for defined deserving charities for targeted objectives: (a) the advancement of education in equine welfare and equine clinical medicine (b) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage (c) the advancement of animal welfare in working equids (horses, donkeys, mules and asses)
