Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the advancement of public participation in sport','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

Sparta runs classes every day, 48 weeks a year, catering for a range of abilities and ages. Sessions include fun pre-school classes where children learn with a parent or carer, a quieter class for ASN gymnasts and recreational classes for children and adults to enjoy themselves whilst keeping fit and socialising. For those with more ambition, we run competitive classes and a high performance squad in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. We encourage people to volunteer, and increase their skills and knowledge with many training as coaches and judges helping the wider trampolining community. Volunteering is often officially recognised e.g. Duke of Edinburgh award, and many members have been inspired to pursue a full-time career in Sport. We engage with our community to encourage participation, with our premises regularly used for birthday parties, private lessons, groups of University students and as a Scottish Gymnastics training venue.
