The purpose of Maxwell Memorial Hall is to provide recreational and social facilities for the community of Kirkgunzeon and the surrounding area by maintaining, promoting and developing the Maxwell Memorial Hall as a focal point for community activities, with the overarching objective of improving of the lives of the community that the hall serves. The Hall is the only community asset in our village, other than the Primary School, and as such it is the main focus for community activities and events. The Hall runs a regular programme of events and a Youth Club. It also provides facilities for other activities such as Yoga classes and is used (free of charge) by the Primary School. Facilities are also available to hire by community members for activities and social occasions. Any income generated from Hall events and activities is used to run, maintain and improve facilities. Applications for grant funding are also made to supplement in house income and fund raising.

Objectives: The organisation?s purpose is to provide recreational facilities for the community of Kirkgunzeon and surrounding area by promoting, developing and maintaining Maxwell Memorial Hall as a focal point for recreational and social facilities.
