Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

The Michael Tracey Project delivers essential support to adults aged 16 and above who have a disability to achieve their full potential and to access their local communities. We support people to live independently, in their community on short breaks and through transitions. We work closely with local authorities and their health and social work teams to ensure we are getting it right for everyone we provide support to.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','People with disabilities or health problems','Other defined groups'

Objectives: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. This will be achieved through providing social opportunities for young people and adults aged 16 - 30 years old with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities. 4.2 The relief of those in need by providing short break respite to families by providing outreach support, respite within the clients homes or outsourced accommodation thus allowing the parents/carers of these clients some time to relax and have time to themselves.
