The club has purchased 10 new training boats through a charitable

Through securing a three year funding package from HRR we have been
able to recruit a full time outreach officerlRowing Coach to provide
sessions to schools both indoor and on the water. We have had over 300
people experience rowing for the first time in the 9 months this scheme
has been running.
We have engaged with all the secondary schools within 20 miles of the
club and have been running programs wth them through their PE
department and active schools co-ordinaters.
We managed to source funding for 4 rowing machines to place into
schools that didn't have any equipment.
We have ongoing sessions for young carers and care experienced young
people and have started working with young self-reliant asylum seekers.
We have continued to provide Leam 2 Row sessions and have grown our
membership base across both senior and junior levels.
We continue lo operate of Scotland's largest rowing regattas in
November and March.

Financial review
Brief statement of the charity's policy
on reserves
The club receives good funding through the events we hold each year
and a growing membership has also aided our overall funds.
We continue to adopt a prudent approach to cash retention in the event
that one of our events needs to be cancelled due to weather.
We have been successfijl in bringing in charitable funding to help us when
purchasing equipment and paying caching costs for our Outreach
