To promote the activity or rowing and sculling across the Highlands. Provide an opportunity for people to try the activity of rowing and sculling as a social activity and as a sporting opportunity. to asssit young people to develop should they wish to National level competition within the sport of rowing and sculling.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1.1 To promote the sport of rowing and sculling for all but primarily to people based in Inverness and the surrounding area. 4.1.2 To provide the organisation and management to support the development of rowing and sculling for all its members. 4.1.3 To provide recreational and training facilities for its members. 4.1.4 To promote and maintain the highest standards of technical competence and safety in the sport. and 4.1.5 To provide equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community
