______________ The Trustees present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025, along with the independent examiner's report.

The charity is registered as Evanton Social and Events Group . It became a charity on 7 June 2016 and is registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) : number SC046608.

Structure Governance and Management
The Evanton Social and Events Group is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation and the purposes and administrative arrangements are set out in its constitution. All of the Committee's trustees are usually appointed or reappointed by our members at the annual general meeting.
Objectives and Activities
The organisations objects are: (a)The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended: To advance/provide the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by/through providing community based events and activities such as Exhibitions, Ceilidh's, dances. Gala's, mountain bike event. Outings for senior citizens, annual senior citizens dinner, Eden court Theatre (b) The saving of lives To advance/provide the saving of lives by/through activities such as the provision and maintenance of the community defibrillator and the provision of first aid courses within the community (c) The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science To advance/provide the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science by / through such as exhibitions, craft fairs and heritage events. (d)The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage To advance/provide the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by/through organising and providing appropriate events e.g. (Winter resilience workshops) and social and educational trips for those indicated in 2(d).

Achievements and Performance
The Chair reported on another busy year:-
We have held many events for the benefit the local community for the past 45 years. Our senior citizens have always been a group that have been special to us with their war time stories & the struggles they encountered for many years.
Going on bus outings, Eden Court, Music group, Xmas Dinners helped to make life more enjoyable. Since Covid we started a fortnightly lunch club to help people out of isolation & to renew old Friendships.
Any person within our village who are pension age are cordially invited to join us at the Novar Arms Hotel 12 for12.30pm fortnightly. Notices are posted locally & names to CO-OP
This year ESEG received an Award from Age Scotland for our work with the Senior Citizens in our Community.
ESEG EVENTS DURING 2024/2025
Lunch club every 2 weeks continues all year round with many local residence attending enjoying the company, chat & food provided by the Novar Arms Hotel. Various people from different organisations come and talk about issues that concern them.

Planting the village Circle with summer plants & greenery. Prepare and organise Remembrance Sunday Service at the War Memorial. Organise local Carol Service & decorate the Church along with Xmas Tree. Erett vlllage Xmas tree & lights. Senior Citizens Xmas party and community dinner in February. Thank you to all who support and volunteer wlth us throughout the year. Financlal Revlew There was a deficit of £6955 mainly due the timings of monies received for projects. The organisation responds to expenditure needs as and when they arise and frequent committee meetings ensures that reserves are always available and when necessary fundraising activity will take pla. The committee is comfortable that our reserve balan of £9385 is healthy. Approved by the Trustees on 2nd May 2025 and signed on their behalf by Chair
EVANTON SOCIAL AND EVENTS GROUP SC046608 INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT For the year from 1st April 2024 - 31 March 2025 Independent Examlner's Report to the Trustees of Evanton Social and Events Group registered charity number SC046608. I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025, set out on the following pages. Respective responsibilities of trustee and examiner The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity Trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under settion 44(1) (c) of the Att and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting cords kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual Items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanation from the Trustees concerning such matters. The prOdureS undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequentlyi I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts. Independent examiner's statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Att and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met, or to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. 1. Basis of Accounting
These accounts have been prepared on the Receipts & Payments basis in accordance with the Charities & Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended).
2. Reserves
All funds are unrestricted
3. Trustee Remuneration and Expenses
No trustees received any remuneration or reimbursement of expenses in the year.
