**in relation to these objects**|The Igbo Women Association Glasgow (IWAG) is dedicated to
empowering women from Black and minority ethnic communities by
addressing challenges such as poverty, isolation, and exclusion. We
support women through community connection, cultural
engagement, health and wellbeing awareness, and practical support
during important life events. IWAG also promotes Igbo culture,
heritage, arts, and community values, helping to preserve shared
heritage and strengthen social inclusion.
During the year, the charity’s activities were more limited
than in previous years. However, IWAG continued to
support its members and wider community through
regular meetings, welfare support, and community
engagement.
The charity carried out condolence visits to support
bereaved families and baby birth visits to encourage and|

celebrations and other fellowship activities which helped
reduce isolation and strengthen relationships among
members.
As part of its health and wellbeing focus, the charity
invited Mandi Moore to speak to members on health and
wellbeing matters. This provided an opportunity for
members to gain awareness and encouragement around
personal wellbeing.
IWAG also collaborated with other community
associations during the year, including participation in
cultural dance activities with the Igbo Union. These
activities helped promote Igbo culture and heritage while
encouraging unity and community participation.
Overall, It continued to meet its charitable purposes by
supporting women, promoting wellbeing, preserving
cultural heritage, and strengthening community
relationships.|

reserves to support ongoing activities, meet unexpected costs, and
allow funds received in one year to be used for planned activities in
the following year where needed.
At the year end, the charity held unrestricted funds of**£11,435**,
which the trustees consider reasonable for the charity’s current
activities.|

mainly due to the timing of activities and the use of funds brought
