GWG was created in order to provide relief to children by reason of ill health in the UK, through the supply of electronic entertainment equipment for use as a pain management tool. GWG collects new and used video gaming equipment via donations from the general public across the UK. We clean them, then redistribute to hospitals, hospices and healthcare settings, providing technical assistance where required.
Objectives: The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health or disability in the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man through the supply of electronic entertainment primarily to children, and when appropriate, to young adults, in hospitals, care settings, or special needs schools for use as a pain management or therapeutic tool.
