| am delighted to deliver the annual accounts for this year. This has been the most successful year ever for the Trust as we continue to grow. We brought in record income which, importantly, has enabled us to help more people than ever before. It is exciting times for the Trust. We are delighted we received funding for ‘Thriving Communities’ from the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation for the next three years. This will develop our services into local primary schools and communities in Perth and Kinross. {It has been a year of change in the Trust and our Chief Executive fli moved into a similar role at the club and we wish him all the best in his new role. We appointed s the new Chief Executive Officer. What | am most pleased about is our ability to adapt to new challenges and ensure our services change with the times and that we continue to support more people in need - - across the whole“| of our communities.

The St Johnstone Community Trust Trustees Report
Details of Trustees and the charities advisors are set out on page 1.
Reserves Policy
St Johnstone Community Trust has completed its fifth year of trading. It generates unrestricted income by charging participants for its' services. This helps the Trust to provide core funding for indirect staff and other associated overheads, Having a reasonable level of unrestricted reserves will enable the business to become Sustainable and provide resilience in the event of any temporary cash-flow issues. The Board of Trustees has agreed that the recommended amount would be equivalent to 3 months of the core operational costs.
Statement of Trustees’ responsibilities
Law applicable to charities in Scotland requires the Trustees to prepare financial Statements for each year which give a true and fair view of the charity's financial activities during the period and of it's financial Position at the end of the year. In preparing financial statements giving a true and fair view, the trustees should follow best practice and:
-
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently
-
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
~ prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to assume that the charity will continue in business.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose, with reasonable accuracy, the financial position of the charity, and which enable them to both ascertain the financial position of the charity and ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 1985. They are also responsible for Safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable Steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
This report was approved by the trustees on 8th December 2025

The St Johnstone Community Trust Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees
| report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 May 2025 which are set out on pages 8 to 12.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 ("the 2005 Act") and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended) ("the 2006 Regulations"). The charity's trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the 2006 Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44 (1) (c) of the 2005 Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Regulations . An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently | do not express an opinion on the accounts.
Independent examiner's statement
in the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
-
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
-
to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Regulations, and
-
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Regulations
have not been met, or
- to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
