Lothian Hall endeavours to engage with the local community by holding events that appeal to all. Since the changeover in committee in Jan 2023 a positive and pro-active approach has been adopted. The hall has been rented for several events from community council, meetings to wedding receptions. The year kicked off with the Kings Coronation event in April 2023 Events in 2023 that had great appeal for the community and were well attended were the Prosecco tea in September, a very popular Wreath Workshop in November and a Burns Night Supper in January 2024 with 80 people in attendance. The hall provided the Burns supper, and this was followed by a Ceilidh and live band. In June the Hall opened its doors for the Common Riding. In March the Hall was hired for a folk concert. This was very well attended by the local and wider community. One of the major goals of the committee was to begin regular coffee mornings. These are held on the 1st and 3rd weds of the month.
