Our Scout Group is set up to help young people in Port Glasgow grow, learn new skills and have fun while doing their best for others. We help young people become confident, kind and responsible by giving them chances to try new things, work as a team and help their community. We do this by running weekly meetings, camps, outdoor activities and games that are safe, exciting and challenging. Young people learn skills like teamwork, leadership, first aid, cooking, camping and caring for the environment. We also take part in community projects, fundraising and volunteering to help others and make a positive difference.
Objectives: Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
