The Manda Centre provides support to those affected by Trauma, Loss and Personal Crisis. Our service was established in direct response to a substantial demand from individuals experiencing loss, isolation and loneliness. We concentrate on one to one Counselling, Holistic Therapies, Practical and Emotional Support, Advocacy & Peer Group Support. We provide support for those with a high level of loss, isolation and loneliness due to Trauma, Loss & Personal Crisis. The people we support include those affected by: • Murder or Culpable Homicide and Road Traffic Death • Sexual Assault / Abuse and Coercive Behaviour • After Suicide and Suicide Intervention. • Families with children diagnosed with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) where there is a feeling of “loss” of an expected childhood experience. • Carers who have “lost” their loved one through dementia or other issues. • Disenfranchised Grief which is also recognised as Chronic Sorrow.

Objectives: The charitable purposes of the Company are to Provide Bereavement Support and assist in relieving the mental and physical suffering and distress of those who have experienced Trauma and Loss and been affected by Disenfranchised Grief by: 2.1 Establishing support centres to help and support families and friends affected by Traumatic Loss by: Murder, Terminal & Serious Illness, Fatal Accidents and Suicide. 2.2 Acting as advisors to family and friends regarding their legal procedures. and 2.3 Providing practical and emotional support for family and friends.
