**What the charity does:** Organising fundraising events for the well being and enjoyment of Montrose & wider community.  These events include, Santa appearances at parties, Santa’s Grotto, Montrose Christmas Lights including switch on event & fundraising shows at local Town Hall

**Objectives:** The purposes of the charity are:  a) To advance citizenship and community development within Montrose and the surrounding area through the provision, installation, maintenance, removal and storage of the Montrose Annual Festive Lights Display, for the benefit of the public.  b) To enhance the appearance of the Montrose town centre for public benefit through the upkeep of planters and similar streetscape features, where this contributes to civic pride, community wellbeing and the enjoyment of the public realm.  In furtherance of these purposes, the charity may organise fundraising activities and events where such activities support the charity’s purposes.
