The charity supports patients and staff at Woodland View Hospital. Any surplus is invested back into projects to benefit the patients and staff at the hospital.

Objectives: 4.1 To provide for the relief of those in need through the provision of a shop to improve the conditions of life of the patients whilst in hospital. That is, the Pan Ayrshire Acute Mental Health and North Ayrshire Community Hospital (hereinafter referred to as Woodland View) or whilst attending clinics or receiving other patient services located on the Ayrshire Central Hospital site at Kilwinning Road, Irvine, KA12 8SS. The activities of the Organisation shall be in the main the provision of a retail shop. These activities are in no way restrictive of the powers of the Organisation to carry out such voluntary work as may be from time to time agreed by them with Ayrshire Central hospital managers which will provide relief to the patients of the hospital. 4.2 The advancement of health through the provision of grants to Ayrshire and Arran Health Board Endowment Funds for the purpose of enhancing the accommodation or facilities of Woodland View and other clinics and patient services on the Ayrshire Central Hospital site for purchasing equipment, machinery, instruments, fittings or furnishings to be used at Woodland View and other clinics and patient services on the Ayrshire Central Hospital site.
