Development Group ran a total of 43 film screenings, 5 National Theatre
Live productions, 5 Concerts, 2 Musicals, and one spoken word event.
Our ticket sales exceeded 5,600 which was an improvement on the
previous year of 3,900 with a number of events being fully sold out,
particularly the films that were screened over the festive period and
during “awards” season.
We concluded negotiations with LiveLife Aberdeenshire and the
Memorandum of Understanding took effect from 1stNovember 2024,
allowing AATDG to introduce a bring a range of events to the theatre

policy on reserves that it would aim to hold sufficient funds for to buy
replacement equipment for showing the films – a projector . a screen and
a sound system.
The previous figure for this was £60,000 while the new projector and
sound system should mean that these don’t require to be replaced for
several years, the charity aims to build up reserves sufficient to purchase
such equipment when necessary.| ||A surplus of £4,286 was reported for the financial year as detailed in
Appendix 2. Having agreed and signed the MoU with Live Life
Aberdeenshire (LLA), we had arrears payment to make for venue hire
prior to November 2024. In addition, there are venue hire costs that we
had not yet received from other users of the venue, who used to pay LLA
directly befrore the MoU came into effect.| ||The donated services consisted of the time spent by committee
members in various administration tasks, organising events and
ingesting films ahead of showings.
