Objectives and activities
The principal activities of the charity continue to be. The objects of the trust ("the objects") are:

To advise active citizenship, community empowerment and the social welfare of the diverse members of the African community in Scotland and beyond; by

• Engendering, defending and celebrating African culture history and values

Promoting the attainment of education, and life skills, especially among young Africans to prepare them for the world of work and to enable them to contribute to the welfare of the communities in which they live and to African in Scotland and Africa’s social welfare

Enhancing the participation of Africans in social endeavours which enable them to contribute to the relief of poverty of young Africans in Scotland and Africa

Advancing active citizenship among Africans through engagement with and participation in political processes, institutions and leadership, both in Africa and diaspora; and to work in partnership with other organizations in other to influence government policy on matters affecting the welfare of African communities in Scotland as well as on the African continent.

Conducting research to inform, influence and support decisions and policies which further the aim and objectives of the company.
