**What the charity does:** The purpose of the Friends of Seaton Park is the advancement of the environmental improvements and protection and promotion of recreational facilities and activities for the benefit of the public.  We work with Aberdeen City council who provide basic maintenance of the park, to achieve these aims.  We organise an annual fundraiser, CakeFest, and apply for grants for funding.  A gardening group meet once a week to undertake tasks such as weeding and litter picking under the guidance of ACC staff.
