**What the charity does:** The Society is set up to provide an organisational focus for anyone who has an interest in any aspect of ancient and modern Greece, to promote social interaction with local Greek families, and to co-operate with other similarly minded local and national bodies.  We deliver our aims and purpose by: (a)  providing a range of talks and meetings on ancient and modern Greek topics (b)  arranging social events which bring together Society members and local Greek families (c)  promoting cultural events through musical evenings and film showings (d)  providing a range of Modern Greek language classes for adults and children (e)  co-operating with other Hellenic and Classical Societies and Communities

**Objectives:** The aims of the Society shall be to promote, through education and other means, interest in Greek culture, life and thought both past and present to provide opportunities for social contact between local and Greek members to co-operate with other bodies having similar aims
