The Association was granted charitable status by OSCR on 16 November 2015. Membership of the management committee is open to all members and elections are held at the annual _ meeting, as per.the Constitution. ‘Objectives and activities : 4 Charitable purposes i ' The primary purpose of the Association is to establish and maintain a safe - and publicly accessible footpath and cycleway between Strathpeffer and ' Dingwall. The route of this path will generally follow the line of the old _ disused railway over its western section and will run parallel with the operational railway over its eastern section.
