**What the charity does:** The Trust aims to advance community development within Kirkcudbright and its environs. To achieve this the Trust operates and assists in the operation of the Visitor Centre, Swimming Pool,, Planetarium in addition to providing meeting facilities within the Centre it operates. The Trust manages the Harbour Stage within the town which is utilised by local groups and artists. Through subsidiary companies the Trust operates a Caravan Park and Planetarium which encourage visitors to the town.
