We provide financial assistant to new parents who have to stay away from home waiting birth of their baby. We also provide funding to help with any maternity services not currently covered by the NHS. We pay for all new mums to have a postnatal physio exam and also fund some other classes our midwives run.
Objectives: To provide relief from financial hardship to pregnant mothers from Islay and Jura expected to await the birth of their baby on the mainland by providing financial assistance. To advance the social welfare of expectant mothers on Islay and Jura by campaigning for better health and maternity services on the islands.
