Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period
We thank God for the continued growth of the church.
Our Sunday worship and monthly night vigil (last Friday of every month) take place in the church auditorium but all other activities still continue online. Key activities undertaken in the year included:
-
Digging Deep – Bible study on Wednesdays between 7pm and 7.45pm
-
Faith Clinic – Prayer meeting on Thursdays 7pm for 30 minutes.
-
Night Vigil – Last Friday of every month between 10.00pm and 12midnight. This is where we fellowship to thank God for His grace and protection for the month ending and for fresh grace and renewed strength upon us all for the incoming month.
-
Men and Women Prayer Meetings: The Men’s Group and Women’s Group special prayer meetings every last Sunday of the month.
Youth and Children activities – We continue to support and encourage teenagers and young people by providing a youth church where they meet on Sundays during worship session, There are two other classes for children and toddlers.
Light Up Falkirk for Christ – RCCG FLH family organised a gospel musical and bible ministration in Callender Square, Falkirk on Saturday 27[th] July, 2024 that carried the message of love, joy and peace. Fliers and bible messages were shared – promoting a positive message of our community. Great turnout with impressive community involvement and the light of the gospel did shine indeed! May God’s name be praised.
Mass Salvation in Scotland – An evangelism team for mass salvation in Scotland was formed in March 2024. The team regularly evangelises through prayers and strategic contacts with people around Scotland.
House Fellowship Centres: There has been a steady increase in the number of house fellowship centres in the Falkirk area. There are now 6 centres and one online. It is our belief the small group setting will allow for better intimacy, open discussion, prayer, and study of the Bible in a way that may not be possible in a larger church setting. It is our prayer that house fellowships help us individually grow in our relationship with God.
Welfare Department: Some church members donate food items, clothes and all manner of non-food items to church – The non-food items are available to any needy member of church and the public at all times when the church is open. All food items are brought in once a month and shared every Thanksgiving Sunday to all needy worshipers and visitors.
APPENDIX 1 3
Hour of Grace
We have commenced a monthly Hour of Grace session which holds every 3[rd] Saturday of the month. This is an evening of intense Worship and Healing in the presence of God.
Cost Of Living Support
With the current global cost of living crisis, the Trustees have setup a short-term hardship funds support initiative to assist needy members. It is offered as a stop-gap interest-free loan to be repaid within a short term. A governance has been put in place to manage this initiative and the performance will be reviewed annually by the Trustees.
